VIDEOPULSIONES. TECNOLOGIAS DEL SENTIMIENTO é um projecto que explora a forma em que as tecnologias da imagem afectam e transformam as emoções.Registar condutas humanas como a violência, a solidão, a paixão, a liberdade ou a intimidade através de imagens visuais em movimento, converteu-se na actualidade, numa forma desesperada e contraditória de reconhecer até que ponto as emoções se tornaram dependentes das novas tecnologias.Neste sentido, a criação de um novo pensamento visual em torno das emoções colectivas globalizadas requer não só de uma diminuição da omnipotência da visão, como também de uma crítica à nossa confiança cega nas tecnologias da comunicação visual. O objectivo central de este projecto é portanto, pensar a relação que têm as emoções com o progresso e com a tecnologia.Em conexão com os conceitos freudianos de “impulso de vida” e “impulso de morte”, esta selecção de vídeos investiga a compulsiva e actual necessidade de expressar sentimentos através do ecrã. Os trabalhos incluídos na mostra VIDEOPULSIONES movem-se assim entre a projecção de imagens de alta qualidade (High Quality) e a transmissão de emoções de alta resolução (High Resolution); entre a representação visual e a teatralização do olhar; entre a revolução tecnológica e as tecnologias do sentimento. VIDEOPULSIONES. TECHNOLOGIES DEL SENTIMIENTO is a project that explores the form in which the technologies of the image affect and transform the emotions.Register human behaviours as the violence, solitude, the passion, the freedom or the privacy through visual images in movement, was become in the present, a desperate and contradictory form to recognize until what point the emotions had become dependents of the news technologies.In this sense, the creation of a new visual thought around the collective globalize emotions requires not only a reduction of the omnipotence of the vision, as also a critical to our blind confidence in technologies of the visual communication.The central objective of this project is therefore, to think the relation that has the emotions with the progress and the technology.In connection with the Freudians concepts of "impulse of life” and "impulse of death ", this selection of videos investigates the compulsory and current necessity to express feelings through a screen. The works enclosed in sample VIDEOPULSIONES are moved between the projection of images of high quality (High Quality) and the high resolution transmission of emotions (High Resolution); between the visual representation and the theatricalism of the look; between the technological revolution and the technologies of the feeling.
